What an egress IP check actually shows

See which public IP traffic leaves from, whether the domestic and overseas probes match, and the quality score plus hosting or proxy flags. For split-tunnel troubleshooting, not platform approval.

Updated · Egress Observatory

Separate two things first

Address: which public IP the domestic and overseas probes each saw. Different addresses only mean this check did not observe the same egress.

Profile: the score, plus datacenter, residential, proxy, and VPN flags. It describes what the egress looks like. It is not any platform's official verdict.

Easy misreads

The same address on both probes can mean both went through a proxy, or neither did. Check specific sites on the split-egress page.

A high score does not mean an account will work. A low score does not mean it is banned.
